2025 Mystery Subscription Box - Grimm's Fairy Tales

The 2025 Mystery theme is Grimm's Fairy Tales. Yarns or fibres will draw inspiration from the fairy tales and folk stories recorded by the Brother's Grimm featuring ancient tales from Western European traditions. 

Based on your selection you will receive 1 or 2 units (100g skeins of yarn or 110g braids of fibre) of your chosen subscription fibre plus assorted theme supporting goodies that nod at the topic of that box. Each box will ship at the end of the box month identified. 

Boxes will ship on or near Imboc (February 1), Beltane (May 1), Summer Solstice (June 20), Lammas (August 1), Samhain (October 31) and the final box on or near the winter solstice (December 21).

Some of the possible bases to expect in the non-felting subscriptions include:

Cumulus/Altostratus/Fluffy - luxuriously soft superwash merino wool yarn or fibre, Cumulus is 20% nylon for delicious socks or other high wear garments.

Cumulonimbus - 50% silk and 50% superwash merino yarn or fibre OR (yarn only) 55% Superwash BFL, 45% silk

Pyrocumulus/Pyrostratus - 75% superwash merino, 20% nylon, 5% Stellina

Felting fibre subscriptions bases will include merino, gotland and blue faced leicester with the possibility of other sheep breeds throughout the year.

When selecting your box type, please make sure to choose the correct shipping destination: Canada/US or Rest of World.

Local delivery - a nominal charge of $5 for the whole year is included in the box price total.

Canadians and US - shipping is a flat rate of $15 per box and is *included in the box price for the whole subscription*

Rest of world - shipping is a flat rate of $16 per box and is *included in the box price for the whole subscription*. Customs/VAT fees are the responsibility of the purchaser. 

Colourways will remain exclusive to subscribing members until January 2026. Should you, as a subscriber, wish for more skeins of any exclusive colourway from this collection please email me and I will be happy to dye more for you at regular cost based on the yarn/fibre base you choose. 

Please note that while these colourways might join the regular line up, it's also possible that they remain exclusive to the club.
