Lerwick Harbour - Murus Bulky

The colour story:

Truthfully, I've never been to Shetland. I did live in the East Neuk of Fife for several years when I was younger so I know the smell and moods of the North Sea but never *that* harbour. It doesn't mean I can't imagine a moody, deep and brooding harbour of dark and light teals, grey and black with flashes of foamy white in places and then make that into a colourway.

As with all hand-made things, there is always some variation between skeins even within dyelots. If you plan to make a larger project, blend your skeins through transition rows.

The yarn story:

Murus bulky is a buttery soft and supremely luxurious yarn made of 100% baby alpaca fibre. It is 2-ply yarn with good but not excessive loft. This yarn is perfect for projects that will be next to your skin because it is so delightfully squishy and soft. Not recommended for hard-wearing projects like mittens or socks. **Alpaca has minimal stitch memory, block your projects gently - they won't spring back if over-stretched.**

HANDWASH COOL and lay flat to dry ONLY - unless you want to felt it!
