Failed Fizz - Altocumulus Fingering - OOAK

  • $27.00

The colour story:

The acid greens and medium rose colours reminded me of freshly picked rhubarb, the fizz comes from the little speckles that happened during the dyeing process that are like the little bubbles of a soda water poured over rhubarb syrup. Mostly, they just seemed really fun together. This is a failed fizz because in spots the speckles got too dark for the Rhubarb Fizz colourway proper but somehow it just makes it more fun.

This is a special weather statement yarn (OOAK) and therefore not repeatable. Entirely unique!

As with all hand-made things, there is always some variation between skeins even within dyelots. If you plan to make a larger project, blend your skeins through transition rows.

The yarn story:

The super versatile yarn for all your fingering weight needs. Made from 100% superwash merino wool, it has a nice amount of twist and pleasant bounce. The tighter twist means this can be used for socks with relative safety and gives great stitch definition to larger projects like sweaters and shawls - especially if there is a bit of lace involved.

Each skein weighs approximately 100g
