Empress - Murus Bulky

The colour story:

Empress is the colour of regal grace, poise and self-possession. Deep, rich red leaning towards a blue-red of extra ripe cherries or poison apples.

As with all hand-made things, there is always some variation between skeins even within dyelots. If you plan to make a larger project, blend your skeins through transition rows.

The yarn story:

Murus bulky is a buttery soft and supremely luxurious yarn made of 100% baby alpaca fibre. It is 2-ply yarn with good but not excessive loft. This yarn is perfect for projects that will be next to your skin because it is so delightfully squishy and soft. Not recommended for hard-wearing projects like mittens or socks. **Alpaca has minimal stitch memory, block your projects gently - they won't spring back if over-stretched.**
