Akhenaten - Pyrostratus DK
The colour story:
Akhenaten was a pharaoh in the 18th Dynasty in Egypt, known especially for his devotion to the Aten, or disc of the sun. The disc was originally one of the manifestations of Ra, the sun god but Akhenaten focused on just this manifestation - a devotion to the rays of the sun. This colourway is all about the many golden colours of the sun. Bright lemony yellow, rich gold, Goldenrod yellow and many more swirl together to bring sunshine to your work and has fine swirls of silver and some gold sparkle. As with all hand-made things, there is always some variation between skeins even within dyelots. If you plan to make a larger project, blend your skeins through transition rows.
