Tempest - Altostratus DK

The colour story:

Evoking the sea and skies during a violent storm, Tempest is a trio of black, dark purple and deep cobalt blue. While this is a variegated yarn, the dark colours blend and interact smoothly with each other making it a lower contrast multicolour yarn.

As with all hand-made things, there is always some variation between skeins even within dyelots. If you plan to make a larger project, blend your skeins through transition rows.

The super versatile yarn for all your medium weight needs. Made from 100% superwash merino wool, it has a nice amount of twist and pleasant bounce. This a lovely, versatile yarn that provides great stitch definition and reasonable wear so it's perfect for larger projects like sweaters and shawls - especially if there is a bit of lace involved.
