I'm All Alone, More or Less - Cumulus Sock
The colour story:
These are sort of space-rainbows. Deep black blends and swirls around brilliant blue, deep green, hot orange, sunny yellow and magenta and makes for all kinds of fun crafting. All you need now is a glass of fresh mango juice and a poster of Fiji and the stage is set.
When knit as socks, this yarn will form a spiral effect that self stripes. Not making socks? Your rainbows will form moving lines of colour offset with that space-blackness
As with all hand-made things, there is always some variation between skeins even within dyelots. If you plan to make a larger project, blend your skeins through transition rows.
The yarn story:
Cumulus Sock, the yarn that gets the job done with grace and softness. Made of 80% superwash merino wool and 20% nylon, this yarn is perfect for all types of projects but most especially for socks. It is a soft and springy yarn with the strength of nylon giving it a lovely hand but durability too.
