Flour Sack Apron - Altostratus DK OOAK
The colour story:
One of the joys of vintage photos is the ingenuity to meet their needs with what they had. Flour sacks eventually had pretty prints on them and those clever people turned them into all kinds of garments. This is a speckled type yarn with varying tones of coral and pale peach and a wedgewood blue reminiscent of a pretty floral flour sack.
This is a one of a kind colourway and cannot be reproduced. Please purchase with this in mind!
As with all hand-made things, there is always some variation between skeins even within dyelots. If you plan to make a larger project, blend your skeins through transition rows.
The yarn story:
The super versatile yarn for all your medium weight needs. Made from 100% superwash merino wool, it has a nice amount of twist and pleasant bounce. This a lovely, versatile yarn that provides great stitch definition and reasonable wear so it's perfect for larger projects like sweaters and shawls - especially if there is a bit of lace involved.
Each skein weighs approximately 100g
