A Prairie Winter - Nimbostratus Worsted

The colour story:

A winter on the prairie can swing wildly between desolate and barren or serene and softly blanketed in pristine snow. It really all depends on which side of the window you stand and the relative warmth of your beverage. The Manitoba Fibre Festival put out a challenge to local dyers to create colourways based on the 2018 mood board and this was inspired by that challenge.

The yarn story:

Nimbostratus is a versatile superwash wool that is soft and springy, made from 100% superwash merino wool. It's perfect for all of those projects where a little softness and good stitch definition and drape are desired, from cowls to hats to sweaters.
